Submissions for Quadrangle 71 close Saturday, December 31st, 2022 at 11:59pm.
THIS IS AN UNDERGRADUATE MAGAZINE OPEN ONLY TO THE CANISIUS COLLEGE COMMUNITY
Please thoroughly read the Submission Instructions below before scrolling to the bottom of this page to submit to any or all of Quadrangle's categories: prose, poetry, fine art, and photography.
We accept anything you can put on paper. Give us your candid art – your poetry, paintings, collages, short fiction, non-fiction, editorials. Give us your flash fiction, plays, photographs, digital artwork, drawings, printings, and visual creations - both traditional and experimental. Submissions are accepted from any student, alumnus, or faculty member of Canisius College.
This year's theme: "In-progress"
We welcome submissions that touch on any subject matter, but are especially interested in pieces that are a reflection of the ways we try to find ourselves as human beings in the midst of having to make frequent decisions – from ones as small as coffee choices to ones as hefty as planning for life after college (and each one in between). Sometimes the most beautiful things rise from our mistakes and hardships, and Quadrangle not only respects but encourages the art of finding beauty in the in-between.
"I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise I won't bore you." - David Bowie
ATTENTION: Quadrangle exists to represent the Canisius College artistic community. We cannot accept submissions from those who are not Canisius College students, alumni, or faculty. If you are an artist outside of these bounds, we ask that you refrain from sharing your work with us, as we are limited in the number of submissions we can receive on the Submittable platform. We wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.
